He will be buried on Monday November 3 at 3 pm at the Mount Royal Cemetery.
Wayne was a long time militant. He was involved in the 1980s and 90s in solidarity with Central America. It was a natural jump to Palestine. Wayne became very committed to Palestine and PAJU and for years he took part in PAJU vigils. Last year he had two knee replacements and then open-heart surgery. Once he had recovered, Wayne returned to the PAJU vigil. The week before he died he was helping to carry the posters back from the vigil. On September 9 at the age of 68, he suffered a massive heart attack. We will miss his good humour and regular presence handing out the PAJU leaflets. We at PAJU express our deepest sympathy to Wayne’s family.
