Iran Jewish leader to Sayyed Khamenei: We are proud of your leadership

AL MAYADEEN ENGLISH

The leader of Iran’s Jewish community pledges allegiance to Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei, praising the fierce defense of the country’s unity and victory.

The leader of the Jewish community in Iran, Homayoun Sameh Najafabadi, pledged allegiance to the Leader of the Revolution and the Islamic Republic, Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei, affirming that Iranian Jews take pride in being an integral part of the nation’s social fabric.

In a speech delivered before a large gathering of Iranians opposing US and Israeli policies, Laleh expressed the community’s satisfaction with Sayyed Mojtaba Khamenei assuming responsibility, describing him as “a student of the martyred Imam, Sayyed Ali Khamenei.”

Reflecting the cohesion of Iran’s social fabric in the face of aggression and external challenges targeting the country in all its diversity, the Jewish leader asserted, “As Iranian Jews, we stand side by side with all other components, proud of this leadership, and we wish it glory and success in leading the country toward progress.”

Furthermore, in his speech, he stressed the importance of unity between the people and their armed forces, praising the “fierce defense” exhibited by Iranians in the face of pressure.

He concluded by saying, “May we always bear witness to the triumph of our beloved Iran, and come together in celebration of the victory that draws near, born of our steadfastness and unity.”

It is worth noting that, as part of the US-Israeli aggression on Iran, not even Jewish places of worship were spared.

On April 7, Iranian authorities reported that a series of US-Israeli airstrikes targeted the central Tehran neighborhood of Palestine, resulting in the complete destruction of the Rafi Nia Jewish Synagogue.

Homayoun Sameh Najafabadi, representative of the Jewish community in Iran’s parliament, condemned the attack, saying, “During our religious holidays, the Israeli entity targeted us and showed no mercy, even to Jews in Iran. »

“The synagogue was completely destroyed, leaving Torah scrolls under the rubble, an act that pains Jews around the world,” he explained, adding that « Israel’s » aggression spares neither Muslims nor other religious communities, and expressed hope for the triumph of the Islamic Republic and lasting peace globally.

PAJU NOTE:

The attack on the Tehran synagogue constitutes the attempt by the Zionist regime to intimidate the Iranian Jewish community into silence regarding Israeli policy and perhaps even in the mistaken notion that such an attack will drive Iran’s Jews to leave Iran. This will not happen. The Jewish community in Iran is one of the oldest, not only in the Middle East, but in the world.

The Iranian Jewish community dates back over 2,700 years and can trace its roots all the way back to the Babylonian captivity in the 6th century BCE (Before the Common Era). That Israel struck the synagogue in Tehran constitutes not only an attack against the Iranian Jewish community but against Judaism as a whole. Jews worship God. The Zionists worship the State.

The attack by the Zionist regime on the synagogue should surprise no one considering that this is not the first time that Israel by way of the Mossad has bombed Jewish targets. From 1950 to 1951 the Mossad bombed five targets in Iraq to drive Jews out of Iraq and hasten their transfer to Israel. These Zionist-sponsored terrorist attacks prompted a mass exodus of Jews from Iraq between 1950 and 1951. The attacks came less than two years after the Palestinian Nakba.

Then in 1954 came David Ben-Gurion’s clandestine  network’s  failed attempt to bomb a cinema in Cairo and blame it on Arabs. It’s known as the Pinkus Lavon Affair. Ben Gurion put together a clandestine network in Egypt using agents and local Egyptian Jews, unbeknownst to Israel’s then Israeli Prime Minister Moshe Sharett.  They were to plant small bombs in movie theaters, libraries, and post offices in Cairo and Alexandria. The goal was to blame the bombings on Arabs, creating the impression of an anti-Western atmosphere and so to convince the British and Americans of the need to maintain the British presence in the Suez Canal. The plot was exposed on July 23, 1954, when an incendiary device ignited prematurely in the pocket of one of the operatives at the Rio Theatre in Alexandria.

What followed was a public trial and conviction of eight Egyptian Jews who carried out the covert operation, two of whom were subsequently executed This was followed by a military incursion by Israel into Gaza that killed 39 Egyptians, a subsequent Egyptian–Soviet arms deal that angered the U.S and Great Britain, who then withdrew support for the building of the Aswan Dam, followed by the announced nationalization of the Suez Canal by Nasser in retaliation for the withdrawn support and the subsequent failed invasion of Egypt by Israel, France, and Britain in an attempt to topple Nasser.

The vast majority of Egypt’s Jewish population were expelled or forced to flee in 1956–1957 following the Suez Crisis. During this period, Nasser declared Jews enemies of the state, arrested over 1,000, and forced about 25,000 Jews to leave, confiscating their property. In short, Israel and its intelligence network were responsible for the massive exodus of Jews from Iraq and Egypt, the vast majority of whom settled in Israel.

There is the earlier Haavara Agreement, a secret accord between the Zionist leaders and high-ranking instances of the Third Reich having as its objective the transfer of somewhere between 40,000 and 60,000 German Jews to Israel. So, it was not only the Western governments that were guilty of systematically barring Jews from their respective countries during the period of the Jewish Holocaust; the Zionist leadership was involved in undermining an anti-Hitler boycott  – in the interests of the Third Reich -being organized by American Jewish war veterans and American trade unions at a point in time when the Hitler regime’s economy was still fragile and might have been brought down. As such, we should consider the Zionist leadership back then as having been part of what I call the “Partnership of the Jewish Holocaust,” the abandonment of Europe’s Jews by the Zionists and the so-called Western democracies.

In retrospect, there is no surprise whatsoever that the Zionist regime in Tel Aviv bombed a Tehran synagogue! Zionism serves the State, not the Jews. No to Zionism, yes to Judaism!
