The Liberal Party of Canada – especially under the leadership of Justin Trudeau – has been consistent in its anti-Palestinian racism whose formal policy of double standards on the Israeli-Palestinian issue is part of the complicity with the genocide in Gaza and the pogroms currently taking place in the occupied West Bank.
The Liberal Party of Canada is running its candidate in the current by-election in LaSalle-Émard-Verdun. Their candidate’s name: Laura Palestini. How ironic, isn’t it? We should actually rename her Laura anti-Palestini because Laura Palestini – like all the bigwigs of the LPC – remains silent on the genocide in Gaza while the Trudeau government continues to send weapons to Israel with which the apartheid state of Israel kills more innocent, defenseless Palestinian civilians! But Laura Palestini says nothing! Her silence nevertheless “is nevertheless thunderous!” Qui tacit complicit!
Laura Palestini does not drop bombs on Gaza, it’s true, but she facilitates the work of the army that drops bombs on a defenseless civilian population. Laura Palestini facilitates the work of those who have massacred more than 40,000 Palestinians including 20,000 children! This is an odious, immoral silence. Laura Palestini does not inspire confidence and she does not deserve to be elected to the Parliament of Canada! PAJU hopes that the voters of LaSalle-Émard-Verdun will not elect her on September 16!
To the electors who will vote: Remember Gaza! Vote to oust the Liberals from power!
