DESCRIPTION:L’Association des juristes progressistes\, en collaboration avec Amnistie internationale Canada francophone\, organise une conférence portant sur les crimes de guerre commis par le gouvernement israélien à Gaza et sur le rôle du droit international face à l’occupation des territoires palestiniens.\n\nLa conférence sera présentée par Dr. Michael Lynk\, avocat et professeur émérite à la Faculté de droit à l’Université Western en Ontario. Il est spécialiste du droit international humanitaire et a été Rapporteur spécial sur la situation des droits humains dans les territoires palestiniens occupés de 2016 à 2022.\n\nCette conférence est gratuite\, tant pour les membres que les non-membres de l’Association des juristes progressistes. La conférence aura lieu en mode hybride afin de permettre la participation de celles·ux qui ne sont pas en mesure de se déplacer. Pour celle·ux qui vont se présenter en présentiel\, elle aura lieu à l’Esplanade Tranquille\, à côté de la station de métro Saint-Laurent.
